The fennel plant is tall and feathery, with yellow seeds and bulbous root, eaten as a vegetable. The seed is generally used to make tea; 1 tsp/5ml per cup of boiling water, steep 3-5 mins. Was used to soothe stomach problems or asthmatic conditions and as a gargle for coughs and sore throats.
Storage: Cool, dry & hygienic; away from direct light & strong odours. Once opened keep in an air tight container for freshness.
